Shadow Day Request

Visiting the Marin School of Environmental Leadership

The MarinSEL Shadow Day Program for the 2018-2019 application cycle is now completely filled. Students who apply to MarinSEL are NOT required to participate in Shadow Days. To learn more about MarinSEL, we encourage students and parents to attend the Open House on October 22nd.

Fall Open House: October 22nd at 7PM

Please join us on for our Open House! Prospective MarinSEL applicants and their families will have an opportunity to tour the school, meet teachers, current students and parents/guardians, and learn more about all MarinSEL has to offer.  Parents and guardians of interested students are also encouraged to attend Terra Linda High School's 8th Grade Parent Night. Please Note: Terra Linda High School's 8th Grade Parent Night is for parents/guardians of prospective 8th grade students only. MarinSEL's Open House is for both parents/guardians and prospective students.

Shadow Days Overview

To get a first-hand look at MarinSEL, we encourage 8th-grade students to spend part of the day with us. During a Shadow Day, visiting students are paired with MarinSEL students who will serve as the visitors' guides. The Shadow Day schedule will include observation of numerous diverse and interesting MarinSEL classes. The visiting students will also have an opportunity to join a brief informational session with MarinSEL student leaders to learn about the program and opportunities for involvement in athletics, student government, clubs, activities, and more. All shadow request forms/dates are filled on a first come, first served basis. Shadow Days are reserved for current 8th-grade students only.
